    The Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture is pleased to announce a new event for the spring semester 2018. Due to the conflict next year with the University Career Fair and ProGreen 2018, we are holding an HLA Professional Mixer and Recognition event to allow our undergraduate students to meet members of the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture profession. This event will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Alumni Center Event Hall in the new CSU Stadium. Appetizers and desserts will be served. There is no charge to participate but you are required to register using the link below: https://app.joinhandshake.com/career_fairs/3948/employer_preview.

     

    Because the event starts at 4:30 p.m., there is no charge for parking on campus after 4:00 p.m. except for the Lake Street Parking garage, which is paid parking 24/7. We expect a good student turnout and encourage companies to bring information about job and internship opportunities. This is a new approach to an event we have held for numerous years and hope it will prove to be a successful event for both industry and student.

     

    We will also be recognizing our outstanding seniors and first Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Alumni Awards at this event. Please register early and we look forward to having you on the CSU campus on February 27, 2018.
