Workshop Title: The Toolbox Approach To Tree Healthcare
By Korey Lofy
You can’t fix every tree problem with Duct Tape! And in any industry, there is no such thing as a silver bullet. Modern tree healthcare requires a number of different tools to get the job done correctly and quickly. Learn about the latest tools to add to your suite of solutions, including: micro-injections, macro-injections, soil applications, and basal systemic bark sprays.
During this field demonstration, you’ll learn about the various situations for use, tree problems that can be treated, application process, and the pros and cons for each option. You’ll also learn how you can integrate these options into your business in order to deliver consistent and reliable results for your clients, municipalities, and urban forest.
Korey Lofy, Rocky Mountain Territory Manager, Korey helps tree care companies and municipalities in the Rocky Mountain region grow their plant healthcare programs. Ryan began his career working during the summer with the Arborist at the NCSD in Casper, WY. During that time, Ryan earned his Bachelors in molecular Biology from The University of Wyoming. After realizing the trees still called to him, Ryan began again in the field of arboriculture. Starting from the bottom, he learned about production tree work, then how to climb. Ryan eventually ended up at one of the largest private tree companies in Colorado. There he earned the Arborist and Climber Specialist ISA credentials. Recent life choices then brought Ryan back to Wyoming where he stared his own tree service in Cheyenne in 2016 and has been operating for more than a year.
